Finally – I’m in taper period!  The last 16 weeks have gone by fairly smoothly, just a few minor challenges along the way, and I’m feeling really good overall.To be ready for the starting line on race day, I need to handle taper correctly and let my body properly recover from weeks of hard training. If you’re new to marathon training, taper period comes into play 3 weeks leading up to your big race.
