Think Pink Rocks Breast Cancer Organization is proud to be a charity partner with the New York Road Runners in the fall running of the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon.  This allows us to provide guaranteed marathon entries to runners who commit to make a donation or raise funds totaling $3,500 or more for Think Pink Rocks.

Why Team Think Pink Rocks?
Our team will raise money to fund cutting edge breast cancer research.  The money raised for Think Pink Rocks from the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon will benefit breast cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, where Think Pink Rocks has established a dedicated breast cancer research fund, as well as at the Rogel Cancer Center at the University of Michigan, where Think Pink Rocks is funding numerous exciting breast cancer research projects.

Some members of our team have a direct connection to breast cancer and have family and friends who have been directly impacted, but we also have many team members who are running simply because they want to support a great cause.

What is My Fundraising Commitment?

Each runner must commit to raising a minimum of $3,500 by October 12, 2025. To ensure commitment, a minimum of $1,000 must be raised by August 1, 2025. This initial milestone helps cover expenses associated with each guaranteed race entry. Applicants are required to provide valid credit card information. Your card will only be charged if:

• The $1,000 milestone is not met by August 1, 2025.
• The full $3,500 fundraising goal is not reached by the October 12, 2025 deadline.

Please note: Once you are accepted and join the team, you are responsible for meeting the full $3,500 fundraising commitment, regardless of participation. Additionally, the NYRR registration fee is separate and must be paid directly by each runner. Full terms and conditions will be available for review in the application.

Your registration with Team Think Pink Rocks includes:

1)    Guaranteed entry into the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. (NYRR registration fees are not included)
2)    A Team Think Pink Rocks racing t-shirt
3)    A free personalized fundraising page

How Can I Join Team Think Pink Rocks?

Think Pink Rocks is no longer taking applications. If you already have an entry into the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon but would still like to join and fundraise for our Think Pink Rocks team, please email our Team Captain Wendy at wendy@thinkpinkrocks.org.
