Join Team Think Pink Rocks on a 13.1 mile journey from Brooklyn, over the Manhattan Bridge, through Times Square and finishing in Central Park to raise money for breast cancer research.

About Think Pink Rocks
We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness about early detection for breast cancer and to provide critical funding for research.
Did You Know?
- A woman’s risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer is greatly increased if she carries the BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation (Breast Cancer Gene Mutation)
- Other mutations such as ATM, BRIP1, CHEK2, CDH1, PALB2, STK11 and TP53 may also increase your risk of breast cancer
- Men who carry these mutations also have an increased risk of developing breast and prostate cancer
Think Pink Rocks Breast Cancer Organization is proud to be a charity partner with the New York Road Runners in the spring running of the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half. This allows us to provide guaranteed marathon entries to runners who commit to make a donation or raise funds totaling $1,000 or more for Think Pink Rocks.
Why Team Think Pink Rocks?
Our team will raise money to fund cutting edge breast cancer research. The money raised for Think Pink Rocks from the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half will benefit breast cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, where Think Pink Rocks has established a dedicated breast cancer research fund, as well as at the Rogel Cancer Center at the University of Michigan, where Think Pink Rocks is funding numerous exciting breast cancer research projects.
Some members of our team have a direct connection to breast cancer and have family and friends who have been directly impacted, but we also have many team members who are running simply because they want to support a great cause.
What is My Fundraising Commitment?
Each runner commits to raising a minimum of $1,000 for Think Pink Rocks by March 1, 2025. Applicants are required to provide credit card information as a guarantee. However, your credit card will only be charged for the balance remaining if we have not received donations totaling $1,000 by the fundraising deadline. Note that NYRR registration fees are separate and are paid by the individual runners.
Your registration with Team Think Pink Rocks includes:
1) Guaranteed entry into the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half (NYRR registration fees are not included)
2) A Team Think Pink Rocks racing t-shirt
3) A free personalized fundraising page
